How To Take Care of Your Hair Extensions

1. Brush gently working from ends toward the scalp before and after washing.
2. Wash gently in cool to warm water. Sulfate free shampoos are highly recommended, they contain no sodium so they will not dry your hair like other shampoos.
3. Use a good moisturizing conditioner like you would on your own hair. Sulfate free is recommended.
4. Do not wash more than twice a week.
5. Do not rub while washing. Gently come through with fingers in downward motion while washing and rinsing.
6. Softly towel by petting before blow-drying.
7. Recommended products: Leave in moisturizer/conditioner, spray de-tangler, cuticle smoothing oil (cuticle sealer/thermal protectant).
8. Brush gently with one of the following: Wide tooth comb or Boar bristled brush.
9. Brush often throughout the day.
10. When blow-drying hair, blow downward with hair, not up into/against hair flow.
11. Always braid hair before swimming to avoid tangling.
12. Braiding long extensions is recommended before bed.
13. Do not sleep with wet hair unless you braid it.
